Idag jämför vi två populära sommardäck: Firestone Roadhawk och Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance. Båda däcken har bevisat sin förmåga i ett antal tester, så låt oss dyka in i resultaten och ta reda på deras styrkor och svagheter.
Firestone Roadhawk fick en totalbedömning på 71% på vår hemsida. Det presterade bra i Autoklub ČR- och ADAC-testerna, med placeringar 11 och 4, respektive, av totalt 16-19 däck. Däcket utmärkte sig med sin körning på torr väg, säkerhet och bromsförmåga på våt väg. I Autobild-testet rankades det som 3:e av 51 jämförda däck. Men Firestone Roadhawk har inte ersatts av någon nyare modell ännu.
Å andra sidan presterade Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance exceptionellt bra med en enastående totalbedömning på 88%. Det rankades som 8:e i Autoklub ČR-testet, där dess körning på torr väg särskilt uppskattades, och som 12:e i ADAC-testet med de bästa funktionerna som aquaplaning (tvär) och aquaplaning (långsgående). Dessutom tog det 11:e positionen i Autobild-testet.
Det är viktigt att notera att Goodyear redan har introducerat en efterföljare till Efficient Grip Performance – Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance 2, som förväntas erbjuda ännu bättre prestanda.
Sammanfattningsvis presterade båda däcken bra i olika tester. Medan Firestone Roadhawk utmärker sig i körning på torr väg, säkerhet och bromsförmåga på våt väg, så har Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance bättre totala testpositioner och är särskilt noterbar för dess körning på torr väg och aquaplaning-funktioner. Dessutom har Goodyear redan introducerat en nyare version av däcket, med förmodad förbättrad prestanda.
